Two glass roofs from which natural light cascades into the Mining Engineering University and The Faculty of Law.
Many university buildings all over the world are wonderful and worthy of admiration. They even take part of the touristic itinerary in many cities. And in these school buildings, natural light is essential. This kind of glass roofs decorates the entrance of Universities.
These two glass roofs in the University of Leon (Spain) were built many years ago. Now Lucerglass has been responsible for the dismantling of the old ones and assembly of a modern and elegant glass roof.
To that end, all the profiles have been sand, smoothed and painted with printer. All the pieces have been replaced and the locksmith works have been reinforced according to the aluminium frames calculation.
The glass roof of the Faculty of Law has a measures of 192m2. The glazing is composed of a laminated glass of 8mm. (4+4), chamber of air of 12mm. and a transparent templated glass of 8mm. This glass has a high performance solar control with advances thermal insulation properties.
GLASS ROOFS IN THE UNIVERSITY OF MINING ENGINEERING
Both glass roofs have been installed just in the entrance of the Universities. In this way, all the pupils will be able to enjoy with the confort and natural light that skylights offer to everybody.
Glass roof of Mining Engineering has a measures of 131m2. Aluminium profiles are Hiberlux brand. The lacquer of these profiles has all the quality certifications, being its thickness between 60 and 100 microns.
